How to Become a Qualified Dietitian  In Nigeria:- In order to become a qualify Dietitian you must past through your secondary school with good WAEC or NECO of five (5) credit which are English and math then biology, chemistry and physics (optional Agriculture), then sit for the jamb to meet up the cut-of marks for any accredited tertiary institution. It takes five years to graduate and go for service (NYSC), after this go for one (1) year internship in any accredited general teaching hospital for proper training as a clinical dietitian, then lastly sit and write the Test Of Professional Competency (TOPC) exams. The certificate and license as a member of Institute of Dietetics in Nigeria (IDN) will be issued after passing the exam to practice as a registered license Dietitian in Nigeria the license will be renewed annually.
